OUR MISSION

At Cross Communication we develop yearly initiatives that equip the church in developing competent communication strategies with love! We do this by offering workshops, a newsletter, and resources both online and in person, that will allow you to engage in kingdom work.

Our goal in 2025 is to help 10,000 Christians discover the power of a single question. Each year our initiative changes, but our content pillars will always stay the same.

We develop communication-based resources that will expand your skills in one or more of our four content pillars that we call STEP: storytelling, teaching, enduring, and passion.

Each of our content pillars are approached with the words of Paul in mind in Ephesians 4:1-2 “I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love..”

Your communication journey into your calling, begins with one STEP.

With love,
Cross Communication

This is where we provide you with all of our resources and guidance for those who are wanting to figure out how to use their gifts to engage in kingdom work. In 2025 we want 10,000 Christians to discover the power of a single question. The question that Heather asked herself in 2024 that started this entire movement was What If I’m Wrong? She spent a year asking God to search her heart and reveal what she may be getting wrong. In doing so, that single question changed her life. She discovered that more important than what we get right, is how we respond when we get it wrong.

You can preorder Heather’s latest book here, What If I’m Wrong? Releasing April 8th that is all about understanding the true meaning of passion.

You can also bring Heather to your event to present her “What If I’m Wrong” 5-part series live by contacting Emma Yarborough at emma@platformartists.com.

MEET DR. HEATHER THOMPSON DAY

Hi, my name is Dr. Heather Thompson Day. I spent the first half of my life learning communication strategies that would help me connect with people. Whether with an audience, or in my classroom, I discovered that good communication is the bedrock of positive relationships. I got my PhD, became a communication professor, and public speaking director, published ten books and became an interdenominational speaker. I even taught Public Speaking at Notre Dame teaching Law students and MBA students the power of words.

Now, in my work at Cross Communication, I am solely focused on empowering Christians. We develop yearly initiatives that equip the church in developing competent communication strategies with love!

Our goal in 2025 is to help 10,000 Christians discover the power of a single question.

Did you know that asking questions, is one way we can model the communication style of Jesus? Martin B. Copenhaver, the former President of Andover Newton Theological School, in the Bible Jesus asks 307 questions.  And of the 183 questions he was directly asked, he only answers 3 of them.

Jesus, who had all the answers, thought it was more important to ask the right questions. Because questions, asked with love, invite relationship.

Cross Communication wants to partner with you to change the conversation surrounding the church in 2025 by helping 10,000 Christians discover the power of a single question.
