These Walls Will Hold (Devotional & Journal Prompts)
If you feel like you’ve hit a spiritual wall, this free 5-day devotional is for you. A war tactic in Biblical times was to put a city under “siege”. A siege was a common method against a city that had secured walls. A siege allowed an enemy to surround a city on the outside and prevent all business or trade from entering or leaving the gates. It was surrender by starvation. The goal wasn’t to fight your opponent directly, but to deplete them till they had no fight left.
The enemy is trying to starve your faith through what you perceive to be unanswered prayers. But God can change in a single day, what has plagued you many months. There is a war over your life that you cannot see. But don’t worry, these walls will hold!

What If I'm Wrong? The Podcast
Episode 1 will air on That Sounds Fun Network on March 10th!
What if you shouldn’t be in a relationship with that person? What if you did say the wrong thing to your sister? What if those Bible stories are more complicated than we were taught when we were children? What if you were wrong when you took that job? And what if being willing to admit it, is more important than being right?
Life is far less determined by what we get right, and far more impacted by how we react when we get it wrong. Changing our minds, starting over, quitting when something is no longer working, is how we as humans adapt, grow, and mature as life provides us with new information and experiences. One of the most crucial lessons you will ever learn, is that more important than being right, is how you navigate being wrong. Holding tightly to ideas that can’t adapt with new information is not a virtue, it’s a vice.
This podcast is a safe space to grow, learn, change our minds, and be challenged. It is a place where we are more marked by our flexibility than our failures.
Every episode, Heather, as a former communication professor, will read audience submissions where people can be free to fail. She will also scour the internet for social posts and popular culture examples of people who have changed their minds, and it just may inspire us to change ours. We will share stories with each other like, ‘am I wrong for how I handled this situation with my coworker?’ ‘Am I wrong for thinking God would do this differently?’ ‘Am I wrong for what I said, or what I thought, or how I responded?’
In each weekly episode Heather will journey with you through life, scripture, relationships, and passion. What if the question you have been most afraid of, is the one God has been waiting for you to ask?
